Boost LogiX ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
When you create an account or sign in with Google, we collect your email address and display name. This is used solely to create and manage your Boost LogiX account.
We store account information including your subscription status, usage counts, and preferences in our database (Supabase).
Log analysis is performed locally on your device. Workshop subscribers may optionally use Garage cloud backup and EvoScan Cloud Sync / Cloud Logs. These services store the selected vehicle metadata and uploaded or synchronized log records in our cloud environment for up to 90 days unless you delete them sooner or a longer legal retention period applies. Cloud storage is separate from normal local-only analysis. We do not collect log files during normal use. If you choose to submit files to Lucio Tuned via the in-app submission feature, your uploaded log files and ROM binary files are stored in our secure cloud storage and transmitted to Lucio Tuned. This is a voluntary action and the files are stored only for the purpose of that submission.
If you ask us to remind you to download Boost LogiX on a Windows PC, or previously joined our launch waitlist, we store the email address you provide in Supabase. We use it only for the requested reminder or closely related Boost LogiX availability updates. We do not use it for unrelated marketing. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email or by contacting support@boostlogix.app, and reminder or waitlist addresses are removed when they are no longer needed for that purpose.
When you start a purchase, we ask for your email address to streamline checkout. That email is added to the checkout link and passed to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, to pre-fill the checkout form. We do not use it for marketing.
Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all Boost LogiX purchases. When you complete a payment, Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your name, billing address, email and payment details under its own privacy policy. Boost LogiX never receives or stores your full payment-card details.
We use your email address to identify your account, manage your subscription status, and contact you about important updates to the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
When you use the AI features (Tune AI, Workshop AI, the in-app assistant, or AI customer summaries), the content of your query and relevant summarised log statistics are sent to Anthropic to generate a response. Raw log file data is not transmitted — only summarised statistics and your question. The AI features are analysis and text-generation features only: no AI feature can modify your files, your tune, or your vehicle.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We use this information only to create and manage your account. You can revoke Boost LogiX's access to your Google account at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Your account data is stored securely using Supabase. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your profile and authentication data are permanently removed from our systems. Files uploaded via the Lucio Tuned submission feature are retained until the associated tuning engagement is complete, after which they may be deleted at our discretion.
Deleting your Boost LogiX account does not automatically cancel any active Lemon Squeezy subscription — you must cancel billing separately — and it does not erase records that Lemon Squeezy holds as Merchant of Record under its own legal and retention obligations. After deletion, residual copies of your data may persist for a short period in encrypted, access-controlled backups before they are aged out.
Your data may be processed by service providers located outside Australia, including the United States (Supabase, Anthropic, Lemon Squeezy, Resend, Cloudflare, Vercel). These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.
Boost LogiX uses the following third-party services:
• Supabase — account authentication and data storage (also read by our website to show the live founder-pricing counter)
• Lemon Squeezy — Merchant of Record and payment processing for Pro and Workshop subscriptions
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered log analysis and text generation (Tune AI, Workshop AI, in-app assistant, AI customer summaries)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Cloudflare R2 — file storage for Lucio Tuned submissions and app distribution
• Vercel — website hosting, content delivery, and privacy-focused aggregate web analytics
• ImprovMX — inbound email forwarding for our support@boostlogix.app address
• YouTube (Google) — optional embedded tutorial videos on our homepage, loaded only if you click play (see Cookies below)
• Currency-exchange APIs (open.er-api.com, Frankfurter) — live USD→AUD price conversion on our website
These services have their own privacy policies and data practices.
Our website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers. We use Vercel Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate page-view and interaction statistics without analytics cookies. The limited custom events record actions such as opening checkout, changing a pricing view, requesting a desktop reminder, or starting a download, together with coarse values such as plan type, operating-system class, or response status. We do not send email addresses, log contents, AI queries, vehicle data, or payment details in analytics events. Vercel may process the page path, referrer, approximate location, browser, device type, and operating system to produce aggregate reports.
We use first-party localStorage only for functional purposes, currently to cache the USD→AUD exchange rate for up to 24 hours. This value stays on your device and does not identify you.
Our homepage can embed tutorial videos hosted on YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. A video is not loaded until you click play; only then does your browser contact YouTube, which may set cookies and receive your IP address and viewing data under Google's privacy policy. To show live local pricing and the public founder counter, our website also makes requests to currency-exchange APIs and Supabase; as with any web request, those providers receive standard request information such as your IP address. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so viewing our pages sends no request to Google Fonts.
You may delete your account at any time via Settings within the app. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@boostlogix.app. You can sign out and stop using the service at any time.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR / UK GDPR gives you the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we process personal data, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (to provide the service you have purchased or signed up for), our legitimate interests (to operate, secure and improve the service), compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where it is required (for example, before the embedded YouTube video is loaded). To exercise any of these rights, email support@boostlogix.app.
If you are in Australia, you may raise a privacy concern with us at support@boostlogix.app and, if you are not satisfied with our response, lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Boost LogiX is intended for users aged 16 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@boostlogix.app and we will delete it.
For privacy-related questions, or to exercise any of the rights above, contact us at support@boostlogix.app.
Boost LogiX is operated by Boost Logix (ABN 74 640 167 786), a sole trader based in South Australia, Australia, and is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
